Rhinoplasty is a plastic surgery that can be used for aesthetic or functional correction of the nose.

It can lead to a more proportionate and harmonious appearance of the face, in addition to correcting structural abnormalities.

There are two surgical techniques that can be used:

Closed: With incisions located inside the nose, and usually indicated for cases where there are small nasal deformities, and when the patient has never undergone surgery at the site.
Open: With an external incision, in the columella, below the nasal tip. It is usually indicated for more complex alterations and patients with previous nasal surgery. This technique allows the remodeling of the nose structure.
